I was once lost and discouraged as an internship candidate. I felt like I wasn’t impressing anyone, even though I had accumulated plenty of experience over the years. However, I didn’t let rejection stop me. I became determined to learn the keys to getting my desired job. After spending hundreds of hours doing internet research, talking to dozens of advisors and mentors, and spending long nights in the library trying to understand what companies wanted in candidates, I finally crafted the perfect resume.

That was in 2016. Since then, that resume has gotten me internship offers at three Fortune 500 Companies (Google, Kellogg’s, and PepsiCo) and has lead to countless recruiters reaching out to me—even when I had already accepted internship positions. I never thought I would be turning companies down!

I discovered a passion for improving myself during my quest to build a perfect resume. Growing personally and professionally became my main priorities. Over time, I’d accumulated so much knowledge that I became the my friends’ go-to-girl for advice regarding their resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. I got so much satisfaction over helping them realize the true impact they’d had. So, why not build a business around what I love?
